Iceland

As I sit on the couch covered up with my warm wool blanket from Iceland, I thought "I really need to update our blog!"  So here is an update, finally.  We took a trip to Iceland for our anniversary.  It was beautiful although cool and cloudy for most of our trip.

This speed sign would flash a sad face at you if you were speeding.

The best restaurant we ate at.  Quaint fish restaurant where they cooked whatever they were cooking that day and there was no menu- you just ate buffet style from what they served.

There were waterfalls everywhere!!!  We probably passed thousands on our drive around Iceland.

Cute little sheep families were also everywhere.  In the road, too- you had to be careful when driving.

These flowers were everywhere and reminded us of bluebonnets from Texas.

Adding a rock like a good tourist.

The Continental Divide.  One the left- the North American Plate, on the right the EurAsian Plate.

Waiting for the geysir to erupt!

Cute little random wool shop where we bought a wool blanket, made from wool from all of those sheep we saw!

The Blue Lagoon.

Would love to know how you pronounce this street name??

Reykjavik

Church in Reykjavik

Ignore my crazy hair!

Midnight in Reykjavik and it is still light outside.
