Before and After

We inherited an outdoor dining table with 4 chairs from our landlord. We were happy to get it since we had patio furniture, but no dining type table. It was a little rough- it was rusted and the cushions had seen better days, so we decided to give it a face-lift. Daniel sanded it and spray painted it (forgot to get before pictures of the table). And I sewed new cushions (did get pics of these before and after). Now it's like a brand new table!

We went hiking in Red Rock Canyon yesterday. It was hazy, so some of the pictures aren't super clear.

We are so lucky to have such good friends stationed here in Vegas with us -at least for a few more months as they are moving soon. :(
We went to Old Vegas (Fremont Street) for a fun weekend.

We ate at a restaurant where they gave everyone a rose and the wine sommelier tasted every bottle before pouring- I told Daniel- I want that job! haha

Yes- you read that right- people over 350 pounds get to eat for free. This is the Heart Attack Grill that was recently featured in the news- because someone actually had a heart attack there! The waiters/waitresses dress up as doctors and nurses and you wear a surgical gown while eating. Very interesting! We didn't eat there- just peeked in the window!
